Josh Wagner

Daytona Beach personal injury lawyer Joshua J. Wagner has been practicing law in Florida for over 19 years. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree and also received his J.D. degree from the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida.

Immediately following law school graduation, Mr. Wagner became a prosecutor for the Seventh Judicial Circuit. He was nicknamed “trial dog” for his aggressive litigation style. The State Attorney soon took notice and promoted Mr. Wagner to one of the two positions in Volusia County prosecuting sex crimes. It was during that time that Mr. Wagner honed his trial practice skills.

Serving the Citizens of Daytona Beach and Port Orange

In 2007, Mr. Wagner left the State Attorney’s Office to dedicate his practice to plaintiff’s personal injury. Meaning, he only represents people that have been injured by the fault of another. He maintains a client-centered practice and treats all of his clients with the absolute respect they deserve. Mr. Wagner fights to make the at-fault party pay.

In 2008, Mr. Wagner was elected to represent 100,000 Volusia County residents living in District 2. He represented them with honor and was re-elected in 2012 for a second term. In 2016, he successfully reached term limits and left the County Council on a very positive note.

He and his wife Jennifer have two children and are fifth-generation Volusia County residents. They love Daytona Beach and Volusia County and appreciate giving back to the community that has been such a positive part of their family’s lives for over 100 years.
