The State Attorney soon took notice and promoted Mr. Wagner to one of the two positions in Volusia County prosecuting sex crimes. In 2008, Mr. Wagner was elected to represent 100,000 Volusia County residents living in District 2. He represented them with honor and was re-elected in 2012 for a second term. In 2016, he successfully reached term limits and left the County Council on a very positive note.
He and his wife Jennifer have two children and are fifth-generation Volusia County residents. They love Daytona Beach and Volusia County and appreciate giving back to the community that has been such a positive part of their family’s lives for over 100 years.
