Intake Specialist

Position Overview:

Job Title: Intake Specialist
Job Location: In-office, Daytona Beach, FL
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Performs duties of Supervisor, in the event of their absence
  • Prepares and sends Letters of Representation to insurance companies
  • Sends electronic authorization forms to client and processes when returned
  • Requests and Processes Accident Reports by entering information into Firm Case Management Software
  • Conducts Client Intakes
  • Initiates claims with insurance company(ies)
  • Other assignments and projects as assigned by Management

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills, including compassion and empathy
  • Excellent understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
